Misrepresentations on resumes have always been around, but do you know what are the most hurtful lies and at what level are they the most common? In the newest video of our series this week, we discover some false claims the recruitment experts we asked met before.

CV fraud is more common than you think. From the Theriault Case to most recent examples, we reported on a few cases when cv fraud got employees and employers in trouble – with countries, like South Africa, now sending employees to jail for lying on resumes.

At a recent leader’s lunch we attended in Melbourne, we asked recruitment experts Pavi Iyer (Mazda Australia), Adam Walker (Big 4 Consultancy) and James Telfer (Cognizant) what was the most outrageoues embellishment they’ve seen on a CV.
